Turn after-school hours into a creative ritual. This handbuilding studio session invites adults and children to share the table, explore clay, and enjoy unstructured time making together. The accompanying adult may be a parent or approved caretaker. Hey Clay provides the space, materials, and light coaching to support your experience.
Class Details
- Arrive and depart anytime within the class window.
- Reservations are required for the adult and the child/children.
- Handbuilding only, held in a designated area of the studio.
- Pricing includes use of studio materials, tools and a brief orientation on hand building and studio operations
Firing (optional): $25 per piece, including one glaze color applied by staff. We handle glazing and both firings. Turnaround time is approximately 3 weeks.
Studio Guidelines
- This is not a drop-off program. Children must be accompanied and supervised at all times by the approved adult.
- No adults without kids :)
- Adults are responsible for ensuring workstations are fully cleaned according to studio protocol before departure.
- Best suited for children ages 6+ who can follow studio safety and cleanup guidelines with adult support.
- Only pieces deemed safe for firing will be fired. If a piece is not approved, the firing fee will be fully refunded.
- All standard studio policies apply.
