Office hours appointment

Office Hours are bookable one-on-one sessions with Quinn McNeill, Hey Clay's Head of Programming and Instruction. Whether you're a Foundations student or studio member, this is your time to get focused support!

Important Booking Information: Appointments are offered in 30-minute increments. You can book back-to-back slots if you need more time. Appointments must be booked at least 6 hours before the start time and can be cancelled up to 1 hour before. If your session needs a prepared demo piece, email [email protected] at least one day in advance. For example, if you want to learn trimming, Quinn will make sure to have a leather-hard demo piece ready to go.

Here are some ways to use Office Hours:

• Struggling with a technique? Work through centering, trimming, shaping, coilbuilding, or anything else one-on-one.
• Missed a class? Get caught up before the next session.
• New to a process? If you have wheel experience but haven't tried handbuilding (or vice versa), we can do a focused intro.
• Working on a project? Bring your ideas and we'll think through the design, process, or sequencing together, whether it's a single piece, a set, or a series.
• Just want a teacher in the room? Book a slot and work on your own projects with support available.
